FLUENT
Stephanie Lüning
Curation for St. George's Church in Wismar
Curated the artist Stephanie Lüning for St. George's Church in Wismar
It has been 1.5 years since the entire artistic advisory board of the Hanseatic city of Wismar approved my curatorial proposal to give artist Stephanie Lüning a solo exhibition at St. George's Church in Wismar. I had many reasons for my proposal: her artistic work is participatory, temporary, and process-oriented. She grew up in Schwerin. And above all, she uses a genre that is very close to my heart—art action. In doing so, she creates community.
When I discovered her work, I fell head over heels in love. So I wish everyone lots of joy in falling in love.
