Injustices are becoming a recurring part of my artistic work. In the development process, I create translations that are initially more abstract feelings. The following primarily aesthetic looking objectives allow a lighter approach, when closely watched are recognizable as drama. The works of art are intended to cause secondary effects of feelings like shock, disgust, fear or mourning and let those affected see the immediacy of my art experienced. Reflecting this work shows our conflict between consumption and preservation - between the structures of our habits and therefore resulting responsibility. Every life has existed since ancient times in cycles and I understand this sustainability as a basic principle of survival. Despite this knowledge, we ignore the consequences of our acting and abusing of limited living space instead correcting ourselves. My art places the recipients in this confrontation. I observe subsequent reflections and explore our social one’s entanglements in structures and desires.

Widerspiegelnd zeigen meine Arbeiten unsere Zerrissenheit zwischen Verbrauch und Erhalt – zwischen den Strukturen unserer Lebensgewohnheiten und der sich daraus ergebenden Verantwortung. Seit Urzeiten existiert jedes Leben in Kreisläufen und diese Nachhaltigkeit verstehe ich als Grundprinzip des Überlebens. Trotz dieses Wissens ignorieren wir die Konsequenzen unseres Handelns und missbrauchen unseren begrenzten Lebensraum, statt uns zu korrigieren.

Meine Kunst stellt die Rezipient_innen in diese Konfrontation. Die anschließenden Reflexionen beobachte ich und ergründe unsere gesellschaftlichen Verflechtungen in Strukturen und Wünschen.
